Try this for a closing argument of the day's events:
“I realize I have not succeeded in answering all of your questions. In fact, I may not have answered any of them completely. The answers we found also probably raised new questions, which may lead to problems we were not even aware of. To sum it all up, I feel we are confused as ever in some ways, but I believe we are confused at a much higher level and about more important things as a result of our presence here today.”
The reality is that training is an ongoing process, and, like everything else in life, we need to achieve results while recognizing that much of "it" lies in the process. By creating enagaging and participant-centered training programs we can maximize our training efforts and dollars for the sake of the success of the company in the end.
